CORONAVIRUS
Elders Announcement
UPDATED: JUNE 1, 2020
In keeping with recommendations resulting from the amended Alabama Statewide Safer at Home Order, the Eldership, in an abundance of caution, will be implementing temporary precautions until further notice.
Worship and Bible Class Schedule:
Please be considerate of others and practice social distancing of 6 feet, and please do not congregate in the building so that those cleaning can begin sanitizing the building.
Out of respect for others, if you are experiencing sickness or flu-like symptoms please avoid contact with others. Remain home and attend worship by way of live-stream until you are symptom-free without the aid of symptom-reducing medications.
The elders urge our at-risk members to remain home at this time. This at-risk group includes our senior members and those with immune deficiency, as well as those with underlying medical conditions.
On Sunday, communion and contribution plates will NOT be passed in our normal fashion. Self-contained communion packets for each member will be available at the main entrance to the building, as well as a drop box for accommodating contributions.
During our service, all interior doors to the auditorium will remain open, and in order to assist those who will be sanitizing the building following the service, please refrain from touching as many other surfaces as possible.
Thank You,
The Elders
